Hi
I have been trying out powermapper and I love it so far. However, it would be nice if there was a feature to have advanced blocking on dynamically created links.
For example I have a dynamic page that creates links such as:
http://home.com/default.asp?type=1
http://home.com/default.asp?type=2
http://home.com/default.asp?type=3
etc.....
I would like to be able to tell PowerMapper to ignore ALL links if they end in the specified address:
http://home.com/default.asp*

Would/Could this be a possible feature?
thank you

Hi Katalin

We already have the feature, and it works exactly the way you suggested, so it looks like the documentation needs a bit more work.

If you go to the Options command on the View menu and add this to the Blocked Links box:

http://home.com/default.asp*

it will block all of the following URLs:

http://home.com/default.asp?type=1
http://home.com/default.asp?type=2
http://home.com/default.asp?type=3

You can also place the * at the start of a blocked link e.g.

*.pdf

Hope this helps

Regards
Mark
